8. Keeping the Site Working

OK, the site has been created, it's being hosted and you have an acceptable solution to making those changes you'd like to see.  Great!

But the computer industry is constantly evolving.  Computers from a few years ago may not even be able to run the new software.  

You need to be sure your site will continue to work as it does today. 

When looking at a total solution, you need to be sure your site is periodically checked to be sure it's working just like it did day one.  Too often companies find out about problems with their site from their customers.  For those companies, who knows how many customers were about to knock on their door before walking away.

Your total web site solution needs to account for periodically testing your site and testing using different browsers.
