Industry Web Host, LLC was established early 2007 after several years of research and development, creating the right set of technologies to offer high end, user maintainable web sites, that would perform well with search engines. Since its inception, Industry Web Host has done some exciting work. Work includes search engine optimization, front end and back end development, web design, and other consulting.

Industry Web Host, LLC was founded by Jim Vezina. Mr. Vezina has over 20 years of experience in the computer industry.

After working his way through college and earning a MS in Computer Engineering specializing in artificial intelligence, Mr. Vezina performed research and development using artificial intelligence technologies for various customers, including initial work on the power management of the NASA space station. From there, Mr. Vezina joined Carnegie Group, a high end boutique consulting firm that had spun out of Carnegie Mellon University artificial intelligence group. Projects leveraged advanced technologies to deliver solutions to complex business problems resulting in very high ROI.

While at Carnegie Group, Mr. Vezina helped create some of the first commercially used web enabled applications as a way of delivering applications throughout large enterprises (actually reading the first published paper from MIT on HTTP soon after it was published – the invention of the world wide web).

After Carnegie Group, Mr. Vezina came to Denver, Colorado. Here in Denver, he helped create large scale enterprise solutions and managed several product initiatives.  In every product or custom solution, web interfaces were developed along with server back ends in a SOA (service oriented architecture style).

At that time, Mr. Vezina began seeing the opportunity for businesses to gain a competitive advantage with higher-end web sites by leveraging open source efforts. A cost effective solution could be achieved by leveraging the right set of open source projects that delivered highly customizable platforms, particularly based on content management systems and the variety of extensions available.  These platforms deliver the robustness and flexibility to web sites; the robustness and flexibility Mr. Vezina used throughout his career.  It was then Mr. Vezina decided to help bring this technology to medium and small business.

But the new technologies were not enough to enable businesses to effectively leverage the internet. Search Engine Optimization is critical.  After all, a web site is only effective if it can be found by customers.  Industry Web Host creates customized search engine optimization solutions to minimize cost while achieving results.  After all, you only need to out run your competition, and not the world.
